What we noticed over the years is most of these companies are either seeking guidance from the vendors they talk to or from consultants who only work with a select group of vendors. Neither is really a source of unbiased perspective. This lack of unbiased perspective leads to poor decisions and bad experiences that help no one, not the merchant and not the platform.

Since most of us at Free eCommerce Advice come from the platforms and vendors that we have on our website, we have established relationships across the whole eCommerce ecosystem. We do not care about what vendor, supplier and solution you choose to work with, but to help you get your real problem solved and be happy with your solution.

We also act as an external customer advocate. That means a few things:

  1. If our clients have a bad experience with a particular vendor, they can not only write a review about that experience on our site, but also ask us to reach out and intervene to help resolve the situation
  2. A lot of the platforms give our clients discounts when they come through us, that helps you save money
  3. Because we focus on understanding your needs, we can either help narrow the search for solutions or come to us for a second opinion

Some of our clients just want someone to talk to about their business. That works too. We just want to see more eCommerce merchants successfully grow and have great experiences doing it.
